Same time frame I would have to walk into the middle of my drive for decent cell phone reception. A little over ten years ago we were able to get mediacom which was a game changer. reported 2 days is there currently an outage in Grandy, NC?. Today I called to cancel my account, and even though we own all of our equipment, they told me it will take 8 DAYS to disconnect my service. reported 2 days is the WORST service ever! The ONE time I get off from work and I want to spend time with my friends (that are online of course) I get timed out and/or my input voice won't render. Mediacom has to me the most **** internet in the world. reported 16 hours I know cable internet is asynchronous, but right now it's ridiculous. If you did not pay them, what kind of patience would you receive? Zero. These people do not care about your service, only that you pay them on time. 
It’s time to invest in fiber optic internet.
